I haven't mentioned two events that Dave attended and I didn't, hence the lack of photos and report- the Nostalgia Nationals and Dragstalgia. He took the Hot Rod and put it on display in the show and shine area while he enjoyed the racing from the NSRA hospitality balcony on the start line and caught up with the gossip amongst fellow NSRA members. Meanwhile Paul was driving the thrill ride on the Sunday.
It has been a big honour for Paul to be invited to drive the two- seater dragster and he was
more than happy to give up the championship race to do it. It’s nice to know that the track owners trust
him with their machine and more importantly their customers! To add to the
excitement, we went to a Run What you Brung and BMW show at the track recently
and Paul taught Zoe how to drive the dragster. She then did several licencing
runs and by the end of the day was awarded her racer’s licence! We are
so proud of Paul for his calm and clear tuition and for Zoe for grabbing the
chance and doing so well.
