Coventry Transport Museum 28th January 2017

We were honoured to be invited to display the Hot Rod at Coventry Transport Museum's special display "Hot Rod and Kool Kustoms and delighted to be invited to the private viewing of the exhibition before it opened to the public later that morning. There were about a dozen cars on display including ourselves plus lots of bits and pieces, a few tot rods and some written histories which captured the hot rodding scene well. The day was well attended and the museum had their second largest attendance ever. It was also a good opportunity to catch up with fellow NSRA members. We could only leave it there until March as we would need it for the season but we were proud to be one of the chosen ones.

What an amazing story board!

We also took the opportunity to look round the rest of this delightful museum which has a vast collection of exhibits and interesting anecdotes documenting the history of the manufacturing business in Coventry, starting with sewing machines, penny farthings and moving onto motorbikes and cars until the demise of the UK car industry in the 70's.

Coventry Transport Museum is in the heart of the city centre and is FREE to enter.

We were even made famous in Custom Car.
